About
My journey
I care about designing with empathy and thoughtful research at the center. I am most motivated when I am listening closely, questioning assumptions, and navigating complex challenges. I enjoy mixed-methods research, but what I value most is working directly with users to help demystify what is really going on beneath the surface. From there, I love prototyping ideas, testing them in the real world, and collaborating with cross functional and multidisciplinary teams who enjoy the process.
My path into design began in architecture, where I studied and practiced in India. That experience shaped how I think about form, function, and how humans navigate spaces. I carried these lessons with me as I shifted from designing physical environments to exploring digital ones. Over the past few years in Canada, I have been working on tackling wicked problems across public sector services, B2B and B2E products, and humanitarian projects.
My most valuable skill is staying curious and empathetic. I’m always open to learning, questioning, and understanding. I believe real impact comes from listening deeply, staying open-minded, and constantly growing through the process.
Work experience
UX Researcher & Designer
Davis Pier Consulting, Halifax NS
Mar 2025 – Present
At Davis Pier, I’ve been working with Nova Scotia’s Department of Cyber Security and Digital Solutions (CSDS) to support the modernization of Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) services. A big part of my role involves understanding existing legacy systems. How they operate, where they create friction, and how policy, technology, and day-to-day workflows intersect. I use research and design to help teams make sense of this complexity and move toward more practical, scalable service experiences for staff and the public.

At Jumping Elephants, I partnered with federal and provincial government client teams to deliver user-centered solutions that align with organizational mandates and objectives, and improve access to services, resources, and content. Leveraging mixed-methods research and cross-functional collaboration, I helped transform complex challenges into actionable recommendations that drive content, product and service improvements.

Our work involved addressing the complex needs of diverse user groups while safeguarding sensitive information and respecting cultural nuances.

This project involved designing a user-centered solution to translate a private database into a public platform that amplifies Indigenous voices while ensuring cultural sensitivity and effective stakeholder collaboration.
Life outside work
When I’m not ‘working’, I’m often looking to the stars… literally. I’m a self-proclaimed space nerd, who loves to keep up with the latest space exploration and tech developments.
On Earth, I’m drawn to road trips, hiking adventures, art and music. My way to unwind and recharge after a busy week is by strumming a few chords on my guitar or trying out some digital collage art. Here are a few of my favorite collages i’ve worked on so far:
